Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that service of the people and development of the state is the only goal of his government.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a public meeting at Rajgarh district headquarters on Wednesday after performing bhoomi-pujan of Government Medical College worth Rs. 256 crore.

He also ensured griha pravesh of more than 10 thousand beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana during the function.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that his government belongs to the people and service to the people is like worshiping God, I am the priest of my people.

He said that the Mukhya Mantri Janseva Abhiyan has been launched so that all eligible citizens can be provided the benefits of schemes like food, clothing, shelter, medicine, education and employment.

He said that no one will remain hungry and no family in the state including Rajgarh will remain without a house in his tenure.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government will purchase land if required but will ensure that no family is homeless.

Chief Minister Chouhan, while examining the Ayushman Yojana from the stage itself, directed the Collector to make Ayushman cards of all eligible people by October 31.

The collector said that so far 6 lakh 90 thousand Ayushman cards have been made.

The Chief Minister told the residents of Rajgarh that with the establishment of a medical college, excellent treatment would be provided in the district itself and 150 children would also be provided with medical education.

He said that whether the college is private or government, whether the children are reserved or unreserved, if they are meritorious, then the state government will pay their fees up to Rs 8-10 lakhs.

Referring to all kinds of development works including big dams built in Rajgarh, Chief Minister Chouhan said that Rajgarh will be ahead of states like Punjab and Haryana in the field of agriculture in the next five years.

He also appealed to the farmers to adopt natural farming to save the land from chemicals.

The Chief Minister assured the farmers of the villages left out from irrigation that arrangements would be made for irrigation in those areas by collecting water.

Chief Minister Chouhan assured the common man that his government would leave no stone unturned to destroy goons, miscreants and mafia.

He said that all kinds of security would be given to women in the state.

He asked the didis of Aajeevika Mission to work diligently.

The intention of the government is that the women should have a monthly income of Rs 10 thousand.

The Chief Minister also gave a resolution to the citizens for development and said that along with the elected public representatives, the citizens should also perform their duties.

He appreciated the people of the district for doing good work in rural sanitation through public participation.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that on the coming October 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the Mahakal Lok at Ujjain.

He called upon all the citizens to attend Ujjain program and participate in the worship, havan, bhajan-kirtan at their homes and temples on this day.

At the outset, Chief Minister Chouhan duly offered prayers and laid the foundation stone and also inspected the model of the at the medical college building.

Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman gave information regarding the proposed medical college.

Chief Minister Chouhan spent some time among the differently abled and distributed tricycles to 22 differently abled persons.

He visited the exhibition put up by various departments and handed over cheques worth Rs 5 crore to self-help groups.

Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, MP Rodmal Nagar and MLA Bapu Singh Tanwar also addressed the program. District in-charge and Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav proposed the vote of thanks. Public representatives, officials and a large number of citizens were present in the program.
