How the dialysis machine is working, what the availability of medicines is and what is the arrangement of ambulance, how people get its benefits… Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Satruday.

He asked the hospital management such questions during a surprise inspection of Mandla District Hospital. He reviewed the arrangement for patients admitted in the hospital and also inspected the pathology lab. During the inspection, Chouhan suspended Dr. Kriparam Shakya, civil surgeon of the district hospital, with immediate effect.

Improve hospital arrangements, special team will visit

The Chief Minister directed Collector Harshika Singh to improve the basic arrangements of the district hospital. The Chief Minister also checked the availability of medicines, arrangements of store room and records in the hospital. CM Chouhan directed that a special team from Bhopal will visit Mandla to re-examine the arrangements of the district hospital. CM Chouhan also inspected different wards and arrangements of the district hospital. He also sought information from the health department officials about the installation of health and testing equipment sent from the state level to the district hospital.

Hostel superintendent honoured

Chief Minister Chouhan also inspected the Tribal Girls and Senior Girls Hostel. The CM applauded the arrangements in the hostel by inspecting the cleanliness of the dining room, bedroom, toilet, drinking water, study room and campus. The Chief Minister honoured Hostel Superintendent Prabha Gumaste for the smooth operation of all the arrangements of the hostel and for doing good work.

Hardworking officer-employee honoured

Different forms of Chief Minister Chouhan were seen during his surprise visit to Mandla. On the one hand, he taught a lesson to the negligent officers on the spot. On the other hand, he also honoured the hard working officers of the district administration. After inspection of the girls’ hostels, Chief Minister Chouhan honoured the officials of the district administration by giving them bouquets. He greeted the officers for their devotion to duty and appreciated them for their diligence.

The Chief Minister also honoured Additional Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat SS Maravi, Executive Engineer PIU GP Patle and Senior Treasury Officer Akhilesh Neti.

The Chief Minister congratulated while appreciating the works of SDM Bichhiya Sulekha Uike, Naib Tehsildar Bichhiya Sheetal Chandravanshi, ARCS Rajesh Uike, Deputy Inspector Naxal Branch Upendra Dubey.
