The Guna Police, so far, has got the amount of about Rs. 10 lakh retrieved from the cyber thugs from the bank accounts of the complainants.

Online fraud incidents are being carried out by the cyber thugs by taking into confidence the people through different measures.

Taking the cases of online fraud in the district sensitively by Superintendent of Police Pankaj Srivastava, the money of many people of the district, who fell victim to the fraud of cyber thugs, is being get back from the bank accounts of the cyber thugs and transferred to the bank accounts of the complainants.

A helpline number 7587644935 has also been issued by Guna Police for the victims of frauds of cyber thugs in the district, on which immediate information can be given about the online frauds with them.

Guna Police had retrieved Rs. 1.57 lakh withdrawn fraudulently from the bank account of complainant Malkhan Sen resident of Railway Colony Ruthiya on March 21, 2022 by some unknown person.
