Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was called on at the CM’s residence office by the members of the youth delegation, who had come from across the country to visit the state.

Chouhan said that various works and activities for public welfare and development are going on at a rapid pace in the state.

The government is engaged day and night in the service of the public with yearning, perseverance, passion and zeal. State Government’s Mukhya Mantri Ladli Bahna Yojana is an innovative effort for women empowerment.

He said many experiments are also being done from the point of view of good governance. For redressal of complaints in the state, arrangements have been made for Samadhan Online, CM Helpline and public hearing.

Chouhan said that there has been a radical change in the fields of roads, electricity, water, agriculture, education, cleanliness and good governance in the state. Today the budget of Madhya Pradesh has risen to Rs. 3 lakh 14 thousand crore. The per capita income in the state has increased from Rs. 11 thousand to Rs. one lakh 40 thousand now. Using technology, the benefits of various schemes are being extended to the people.

Chouhan said that the contribution of Madhya Pradesh in the country’s GDP is 4.6 percent. Works of irrigation projects worth Rs. 68 thousand crore are going on in the state. CM Rise schools are being made better than private schools. Realising the concept of Waste-to-Wealth, the work of making electricity from waste is being done.

Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh is leading in the country in the field of cleanliness. Madhya Pradesh is number one in organic farming. For the all-round development of the youths, a youth policy has been made in the state.

Chouhan said that Mahakal Mahalok has been made in Ujjain. A statue of Jagat Guru Adi Shankaracharya and an amazing Lok will be established in Omkareshwar.

The youth delegation appreciated various schemes, development works and other specialties of the state. The delegation included Rohit Chahal, Abhinav Prakash Singh, Vaibhav Pawar, Ranjit Singh Chauhan and others.
