Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that on June 10, the programme of transfer of Rs one thousand each to the accounts of the beneficiaries of Mukhya Mantri Ladli Bahna Yojana should become a Jan Utsav, maximum number of Ladli Bahnas should participate in this programme. Necessary preparations should be made in the districts for this.

Chief Minister Chouhan was holding a virtual discussion with district public representatives and district collector in the presence of State Cabinet members and senior officials at Chief Minister’s residence Samatva Bhavan today.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that June 10 will be a historic day for Madhya Pradesh. Wonderful programmes should be organized in the presence of Ladli Bahnas in various places including Jabalpur. Inspirational songs will be played on the Laadli Bahna theme and lamps will also be lit in the houses.

Chief Minister Chouhan instructed the collectors to ensure proper seating and drinking water arrangements at the programme venue.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also sought information about the distribution of approval letters to the women beneficiaries of the scheme from June 1 to 7.

He also congratulated the administrative staff and people’s representatives of Agar-Malwa, Harda and Niwari districts for their excellent work. Along with Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, the members of the Cabinet also extended congratulations for the excellent work.

It was told that the state level programme of the scheme would be held on June 10 at the Garrison Ground in Jabalpur from 6 pm. Programmes will be held at other places at the same time.

The state level programme will be broadcast in villages and wards. Rangoli, Nukkad Natak, folk songs and dance programmes and Deepotsav will be held in villages and wards from 5 pm focused on Ladli Bahna Yojana.

While in Jabalpur Chief Minister Chouhan will transfer the amount to the accounts of the women, in other places, the chief guest and presiding guest will transfer the amount.

It was told that the approval letters have been distributed in the period from June 1 to 7.

Ladli Bahna Gram Sabhas will be held in the state on Thursday, June 8. Necessary preparations have been made for this.

The efforts and innovations made to popularize the scheme at the district level were also mentioned.
