Madhya Pradesh Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput performed Bhumi Pujan for three major bridges on longest road of Madhya Pradesh at a cost of 15 crores.

The foundation stone laying ceremony was held for bridges to come up in Devalchauri, Tajpur and Singarchauri under Vikas Parv.

Rajput said no stone is being left unturned regarding development works in Surkhi Vidhan sabha area.

In the Bharatiya Janata Party government, I have demanded from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the development of the area and they readily accepted and granted approval, Rajput said.

Union Minister for Transport and Roads, Nitin Gadkari, considering a big demand of the area, gifted construction of 41 kilometers long and 9 meter wide road to Surkhi Assembly under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, which is connecting the two assemblies. the maximum road area comes under the Surkhi Assembly seat area. Bhoomipujan is being done under the Vikas Parv of the big bridges being constructed at a cost of 15 crores coming in this road, Rajput said.

Due to which hundreds of villages of Surkhi Vidhansabha will be connected, he said.

The People will get convenience in transportation, Rajput said.

Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput said this during the Bhumi Pujan of bridges at Devalchauri, Tajpur and Singarchauri.

Continuous efforts are being made by Minister Govind Singh Rajput for the development of the area.

It is his untiring efforts at Delhi that under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana in the state, he made efforts for the construction of a road connecting Narayavali to Surkhi Vidhansabha. Road work is in progress, he said.

The bridge is being constructed there, he said.

The Bhoomipujan of these bridges costing 15 crores was done by Minister Rajput on Saturday.

Addressing the program, Rajput said that I made efforts for this road several times by going to Delhi and got the longest road of the state approved, and a big bridge for Surkhi assembly constituency under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana was also approved.

Earlier I used to see that the water from the rivers used to come on this road during the rainy season, he said.

Due to which the traffic used to stop completely, he said.

After waiting for hours, traffic could start when the water receded, in such a situation ambulance, the students, farmers carrying produce used to face problems, but now this will not happen, three major bridges are being constructed here, Rajput said.

This will improve the development and economic condition of the area along with the convenience of transportation, he said.

Road network set up in Surkhi assembly constituency

Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput said a network of roads has been laid in the entire Surkhi assembly.

The Deorichori to Killai road Marg Rs 2.5 crore, Sundar Road from Devalchauri to Semraghat Rs 51 lakh, Tajpur to Moodri Marg Rs 2.9 crore, Bansa to Singarchauri Tajpur Dhakrai road Rs 3.33 crore, whose work is still in progress. With the completion of all these roads, hundreds of villages will be directly connected and the time of the villagers will also be saved.

Bhumi Pujan was done for these bridges

120 meter long at Tajpur – cost 4.70 crores

Devalchauri 135 meter length cost 5.85 crores

Singarchori 105 meter length – cost of Rs. 4.5 crores.

During the program Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput gifted development works worth crores to the people of the Surkhi Assembly constituency area.
