Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan honored a couple visited his official residence walking all the way from Chhatarpur.

Ladli Bahna Vimala brought rakhi for the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Chouhan told Hari Prajapati and Smt. Vimala that he would visit them.

Chouhan asked the authorities concerned to ensure that the Prajapati couple get benefits of the welfare schemes they are eligible for..

Chouhan offered the couple food at his residence and gave them Rs 25 thousand.

Chief Minister Chouhan gave instructions to make transportation arrangements to send back the couple.

The Prajapati couple informed the Chief Minister about their visit.

They informed that they had decided to undertake padyatra to express gratitude.

They said that they wanted to spread message of the Chief Minister and about Ladli Bahana Yojana.

They informed that their daughter is getting the benefit of Ladli Laxmi Yojana.

Hari Prajapati informed the Chief Minister about growing popularity of the Ladli Bahna Yojana.

Hari Prajapati is a labourer working in a brick kiln.

He is a resident of ward number-8 Sarani Darwaza of Chhatarpur and owns a plot.

He said that he was a daily wager but wanted to start his own enterprise.

Vimla Prajapati, a Ladli Bahna Yojana expressed her happiness on receiving monthly Rs one thousand.

She informed that the Padyatra started from 15th August.
