Ujjain MP Anil Firojiya has made to the headlines for all the good reasons. Firojiya reduced his weight by 35 kilograms following a routine diet and workout plan. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari keeps promise and allotted Rs. 2300 crore for development of Ujjain including road routes development worth Rs.2200 crore.

He was encouraged by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari’s promise that his ministry will allot Rs 1,000 crore per kilogram for weight lost for developmental work in his constituency.

Taking it a challenge, Firojiya said I accepted the challenge and I have lost almost 35 kg.

He said the Prime Minister has launched the Fit India movement and in this perspective, Union Minister Gadkari in a function held at Ujjain in June last said for per kilogram of weight lost, Rs.1000 crore will be allotted for development works in Ujjain.

‘If I lose weight can bring more funds for Ujjain than I am ready to do so for development of constituency’, he said.

After losing weight, I requested him to release the funds, he said.

He said I woke up at 5.30 in morning and then go for morning walk, followed by workout like exercise and yoga. Ayurvedic diet chart was prepared. Having light breakfast, in lunch and dinner, I took salad, green vegetables and one roti made up of mixed cereals.
