Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana will bring positive change in the lives of poor sisters. This is a crucial scheme. Everyone has to unite to implement it on the ground.

The scheme will be duly launched at the state level programme on March 5 in Bhopal. Apart from Bhopal, sisters from nearby districts will also participate in the programme.

Chouhan himself apprised the sisters about the scheme present in the programme by filling the form of a sister.

Chouhan said that the Women and Child Development Department has sent detailed instructions for the implementation of the scheme at the district level. While filling the form of sisters, linking of bank account with Aadhaar, Aadhaar enrollment and its updation along with fulfillment of other technical requirements has also been explained. The staff filling the forms should be entirely trained for this work, so they can properly help the sisters eligible for the scheme.

Chouhan received information from Women and Child Development Department, all Commissioners, Collectors, Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat, Commissioner Municipal Corporation and Chief Municipal Officers through video conferencing regarding the preparations for the launch of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana at Samatva Bhawan, residence office today.

Chouhan said that the staff should be trained and made efficient in filling the forms of the scheme.

Chouhan said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana is multifaceted and a mission. This is an important step in the direction of giving justice to the poor sisters of the general category in rural and urban areas along with the sisters of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. He said that women would now be effective in the process of making important decisions at the family level by getting economic upgradation from this scheme.

Chouhan said that sisters will gather in the camps to be held at every ward and village level in the districts this month. There should not be any complaints of irregularities in the preparations of the scheme. Administrative staff should work in mission mode. None of the eligible sister should be left out. The process of filling the form should be simple. People’s representatives should also become participants. There should be complete transparency in the work of filling the form. It is worth mentioning that women belonging to poor category will get Rs 1000 per month under the scheme. Complete details regarding eligibility for the scheme have been sent up to the district level.

Principal Secretary Women and Child Development Deepali Rastogi gave a presentation. Senior officers including Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains were present.
