Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has congratulated and extended best wishes to all the citizens on World Environment Day.

Chouhan has said in a message issued on social media that “Present” is in crisis, if we do not make serious efforts to save mother earth, then this earth will not be fit for the coming generations. He said that to protect one’s own life and to leave the earth livable for the coming generations, then environment-friendly lifestyle has to be adopted. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon all the citizens of the country to adopt an environment-friendly lifestyle.

In order to save the environment, Chief Minister Chouhan has appealed to every citizen of the state to plant saplings on every memorable occasion of life, birthdays, marriage anniversaries, children’s birthdays and in memory of the virtues of parents.

He said that I also plant 3 plants daily. If we plant trees, the earth will become green.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that plant trees, save water, every drop of water is nectar. Do not waste electricity unnecessarily, production of electricity pollutes the environment.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that do not spread e-waste and do not use single use plastic.

He said that all citizens should remember that the earth is not only for us, it is also for all living beings, animals, birds and insects.
