Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh on June 27. On this day, the Prime Minister will flag off two Vande Bharat trains, Bhopal-Indore and Bhopal-Jabalpur, in Bhopal.

On the same day in Shahdol, we will pay tributes to Rani Durgavati on the occasion of the martyrdom day of Veerangana Rani Durgavati, at the conclusion of Gaurav Yatras.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Veerangana Rani Durgavati is a symbol of India’s valour and self-respect. We all look at him with great reverence and respect. Rani Durgavati was sacrificed on 24 June while fighting against Akbar’s forces. We pay tributes every year on Martyrdom Day.

This time the state government has decided that Veerangana Rani Durgavati Gaurav Yatra will start on June 22. These yatras will start from Balaghat, Chhindwara, Singrampur (Jabera-Damoh), her birth place Kalinjar Fort (U.P.) and Dhauhani (Sidhi) and reach Shahdol.

The Chief Minister said that the Gaurav Yatra would be inaugurated at Balaghat on June 22 by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah by paying obeisance at the feet of Veerangana Durgavati. In these yatras passing through various places, homage will be paid to the portrait of the heroic queen Durgavati and the new generation will be informed about her courageous deeds. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave this information in his message to electronic and social media.

Prime Minister Shri Modi will symbolically distribute Ayushman cards

Chief Minister Chouhan said that there will be two major programmes in the presence of Prime Minister Shri Modi. Prime Minister Shri Modi will launch the programme to free India from sickle cell anaemia. Along with this, one crore Ayushman cards will be symbolically distributed in Madhya Pradesh. There will be programmes in every village and city to listen to the programmes of the Prime Minister, in which Ayushman cards will be distributed.

Rani Durgavati, a symbol of unmatched bravery and self-respect

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the 499th year of the birth of Rani Durgavati is going on now. Her 500th birth anniversary year will start on 5th October.

The Chief Minister said that it is our good fortune that Prime Minister Modi will be among us on this occasion and will pay homage to Rani Durgavati.

Routes of Gaurav Yatra

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Veerangana Durgavati Gaurav Yatra will start from 5 places. Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste will be incharge of the yatra starting from Balaghat.

This yatra will reach Shahdol via Baihar, Bichhiya, Dindori, Pushparajgarh, Anuppur, Jaitpur. The second yatra will start from Chhindwara for Shahdol.

The incharge of the yatra will be MP Shri Durgadas Uike. This yatra will reach Shahdol from Chhindwara via Chorai, Seoni, Kevalari, Lakhnadon, Mandla, Niwas, Shahpura, Umaria, Pali (Manpur).

The third route of the yatra will start from Singrampur (Jabera-Damoh) to Shahdol. Forest Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah will be incharge of this route. The yatra will reach Shahdol from Singrampur via Jabera, Majhauli (Patan), Sihora, Jabalpur City, Bargi Samadhi, Kundam, Shahpura, Birsimpur Pali.

The fourth route of the yatra will start from Kalinjar Fort in Uttar Pradesh to Shahdol, the birth place of Rani Durgavati.

The incharge of this yatra will be former MP Sampatiya Uike and coincharge of the yatra will be Rajya Sabha MP Sumer Singh Solanki.

The yatra will reach Shahdol from Kalinjar via Ajaygarh, Powai, Barwara, Vijayraghavgarh, Amarpur, Manpur.

The 5th route of the yatra will start from Dhauhani (Sidhi) and reach Shahdol via Kusmi, Beohari, Jai Singh Nagar.
