Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Chouhan said that the previous government had stopped implementation of welfare schemes.

Madhya Pradesh is now progressing rapidly on the path of development. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working hard for public welfare.

The state government is actively working for the well-being of the common people, he said.

Initiatives like providing piped water to every household with a fund of Rs 600 crore have been undertaken, Chouhan said.

Scholarships will be provided to deserving students entering medical and engineering fields, as the state government would bear Rs 10 lakh. Measures have been taken to ensure water to farmers and to provide Rs 6,000 yearly with the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi, he said.

Chouhan said that the Laadli Bahana Yojana is supporting women, he said. The state government has allocated Rs 15,000 crore for implementation of the Laadli Bahana Yojana, he said.

Stringent punishments have been introduced for wrongdoers . The Chief Minister received a warm response from citizens .

Shri Chouhan inaugurated and performed the ground-breaking for development projects worth Rs 677.49 crore at Gunaur. This included the inauguration of nine development projects worth Rs 677 crore 49 lakh 46 thousand , with three projects costing 60 crore 17 lakh, and the ground-breaking for nine projects worth 617 crore 32 lakh 41 thousand rupees. The initiatives encompassed the construction of power distribution centers, road projects, and water supply systems, among others.

The Chief Minister emphasized the significance of Raksha Bandhan and said that Laadli Behna Yojana is enhancing the dignity of women. Efforts are being made to ensure monthly income of up to 10,000 rupees through various programs. The state government has also taken measures to ensure severe punishment for wrongdoers and to reintroduce funding for schemes that were discontinued by the previous government.
