The Supreme Court on Friday looked for a reaction from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on an application for bail moved by previous media leader Indrani Mukherjea, who is in prison for more than six years regarding the homicide of her 25-year-old little girl Sheena Bora in 2012.
Giving notification on her bail supplication, a seat of Justices L Nageswara Rao and PS Narasimha asked the CBI and Maharashtra government to record their reaction in about fourteen days.

Senior supporter Mukul Rohatgi who showed up for the 50-year-old, right now stopped at Byculla Jail, let the Court know that the preliminary won’t end at any point in the near future as 185 out of 253 observers still need to be inspected. He informed the Court that Mukherjea was captured in August 2015 and has stayed in prison since.

The request was recorded testing the request excusing bail passed by the Bombay high court on November 16 last year. The appeal documented through advocate Sandeep Singh said that the solicitor is experiencing irreversible cerebral ischemia and has other unexpected issues.
The body of evidence against the solicitor connects with the demise of her little girl from her first marriage – Sheena Bora who was killed in April 2012. The case was at first taken up by the Mumbai Police yet later moved to CBI in September 2015.

As indicated by the arraignment, Indrani had incubated a connivance with her better half Peter Mukherjea, Sajeev Khanna and her driver Shyamvar Rai to take out her girl. Indrani had protested Sheena’s relationship with the child of Peter Mukherjea from his first marriage. Sheena supposedly coerced Indrani and took steps to uncover her monetary exchanges, which prompted the episode being referred to.

Indeed, even as Sheena had strangely vanished, Indrani kept up with that she was in the U.S. It wasn’t long after Indrani’s driver was captured for another situation that the police found the plot and the half-copied assemblage of Sheena was found by the police. Nonetheless, in another turn to the case, Indrani asserted two months back that she was told by a lady detainee that Sheena is as yet alive.
