Any person can express his thoughts best in his own language. There is a policy to promote Hindi in the state. This has been implemented seriously.

Hindi Vishwavidyalaya an important step

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh is a Hindi language dominated state. Madhya Pradesh is the only state among the Hindi states of the country which established Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya. Established in Bhopal in the year 2011, the foundation stone of this university was formally laid in the year 2013. The first academic session started with 60 students. In the year 2017-18 the students’ number increased to approximately 500. Currently this number is more than 800. Many courses are offered in the university. Study centres are also operated in many cities of the state. Through this university, work has been done to boost Hindi skills among the students. Here all the teaching methods and research are done in Hindi.

Medical and engineering education also in Hindi

Chief Minister Chouhan said that now English language should not become an obstacle in the path of children’s dreams in Madhya Pradesh, hence an initiative has been taken to start the system of medical and engineering education in Madhya Pradesh in Hindi.

World Hindi Conference and promotion of Hindi

World Hindi Conference was organised in Madhya Pradesh in 2015 in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs. Hindi lovers from many nations were present in the 10th World Hindi Conference at Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal. Citizens, teachers and students were benefited by the lectures of expert speakers.

Efforts have always been made to encourage work in Hindi at the government level. Hindi sevis are also rewarded and honoured by the Culture Department.

Madhya Pradesh naturally has a tradition of maximum use of Hindi. Madhya Pradesh is continuously active in increasing the popularity of the national language while maintaining the prestige of Hindi.
