Chief MinisterShivraj Singh Chouhan has said that works of irrigation projects under construction in the interest of farmers should be completed on top priority. Strict action will be taken against the agencies and responsible officers who do not complete the work on time.

Chouhan was reviewing the works of Chhipaner Micro Lift Irrigation Project being implemented in Sehore and Dewas districts at Chief Minister’s residence office Samatva Bhawan today. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan expressed his unhappiness over the pace of the works of the project.

Chouhan instructed the Additional Chief Secretary Water Resources that the remaining 5 percent work of Chhipaner Micro Lift Irrigation Project should be completed soon. It was informed in the meeting that 95 percent work has been completed so far for irrigation of 35 thousand hectare area. 39 villages of Dewas district and 30 villages of Sehore district will be benefitted from the project

.Mukhya Mantri Janseva Abhiyan and Mukhya Mantri Ladli Bahna Yojana

Chouhan congratulated the collectors of all the districts of the state through video conference for the successful implementation of Mukhya Mantri Janseva Abhiyan and Mukhya Mantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. He also congratulated the best performing districts including Shivpuri, Jabalpur, Raisen, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Rewa and Bhopal. It was informed in the meeting that 99.2 percent applications were approved in the campaign.
