Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, during the recent review of law and order, advised police personnel to remain stress-free and pay special attention to family and children. 

He also suggested various programs to promote art skills, self-confidence, social service, discipline, sportsmanship and human values ​​among children. Putting this into practice, for the first time Madhya Pradesh Police is conducting summer camps in all district headquarters of the state along with 22 battalions and all GRP units. Summer vacations are being utilized by the children through studies, sports, art, career guidance and other activities in these camps lasting one month, in which more than 11 thousand boys and girls and women are participating.

According to the spirit of Chief Minister Chouhan, events like Khelo India Youth Games were organized to enhance the talent of the sportspersons of the state and to provide them a national and international platform. During the Youth Games, the Chief Minister had called upon all the sportspersons, youth and children to study hard and also play, no stone would be left unturned in the development of sports. In this series, summer camps are being organized at different places of the state, in which children are taking part and improving their skills and talents. Along with this, qualities like strategic ability, collectivity, tolerance are also being developed in them.

38 activities are being done in the summer camp in all the districts of the state. These activities include Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Kabaddi, Hockey, Karate, Judo, Wrestling, Dance, Music, Malkhamb Art & Craft, Athletics, Compute Class, Maths Class, Skating, Chess, Spoken English, Beauty Parlour, Yoga , Zumba, Rangoli, Painting, Mehndi, Theatre, Cooking, Tailoring, Horse Riding, Tennis, Table Tennis, Driving, Kho-Kho, Martial Arts, Boxing, Cycling, Cricket, Fun Games etc.

Enthusiasm seen in children in summer camp

Enthusiasm is being seen among children and women in the summer camp. Under the guidance of about 700 coaches, children and women are improving their talent while developing their personality. These activities are motivating children to move forward with positive thinking.

Special focus is being given on the time and personality development of the children participating in the summer camps started by the police in association with educational experts and trainers. Through a series of interactive workshops, they are encouraged to develop their communication skills, leadership qualities, teamwork abilities and problem solving abilities. These skills are not only contributing to their personal development but also preparing them to become responsible citizens.
