Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faizal Macdad has denied that his government has chemical weapons or chlorine gas.

According to the report of Xinhua news agency, the Foreign Ministry reiterated the government’s stand dismissing recent allegations of using chlorine gas in the fight against the rebels in the eastern dive of Damascus on Saturday (March 10). He said, “We completely deny the presence of any chemical weapon including chlorine gas and we condemn the use of such weapons in any situation. We believe that any country in the world has no reason to threaten Syria and there is no reason to use their weapons against us. ”

Macdad warned a few foreign military powers such as United states and Britain not to use chemical weapons against Syria. He also said that the rebels have plotted the chemical attacks to implicate the Syrian government in false allegations. He also said that their intelligence has found that the rebels are planning for a new chemical attack in the eastern dive. According to Macdad, “We all advise not to take the risk of any kind of military action because when we look forward to peace throughout the world, at such a time the international scenario is unable to deal with such aggressive situation.”
