Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that strict action will be taken against the officers keeping the applications of the general public pending in the office.

Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Abhiyan has been started only to solve the problems of the citizens.

Senior officers should conduct surprise inspections of the offices to see whether the applications of the public have not been buried in the papers. Government servants who delay in redressal will be punished.

Divisional commissioners should get daily information about disposal of applications being made under Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Abhiyan in the districts of their division.

This campaign is a great Mahayagya. Pending works should be brought to zero by solving 100 percent problems of the public.

Chouhan was reviewing the works being done in the state under the public service campaign through video conferencing from the Samatva Bhavan meeting hall today.

Chouhan inquired about the status of redressal of public applications in districts and divisions and gave instructions after discussing with the commissioner collector.

Out of 25 lakh 27 thousand applications received in seven days in the second phase of Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Abhiyan, which started from May 10, 19 lakh 27 thousand have been approved. Out of the total applications received, more than 76 percent applications have been approved.

The disposal of applications is 90 to 97 percent in Shajapur, Ratlam, Neemuch, Dewas and Vidisha of the state. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also listened to the experiences of Shajapur, Ratlam and Khargone Collector’s prompt work.

Chouhan instructed the collectors to ensure that the applications, in which the necessary documents are not attached, are also completed. By helping the applicants, their problems should be solved on priority.

The progress in the campaign in the state is encouraging. This atmosphere should continue uninterrupted. Publicize the information about the camps to be organised in the villages and panchayats.

Chouhan also received information regarding the progress of the campaign from the MLAs present in various districts today. MLA of Ujjain district Shri Bahadur Singh said that people’s works are getting done quickly after the campaign started. Approval letters and necessary certificates will be distributed to the citizens even by going door-to-door. Mandsaur MLA Shri Yashpal Singh said that common citizens are getting relief from the Jan Seva Abhiyan.
