On Thursday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin paid a visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. NEET exam and coronavirus vaccine were among the topics raised by CM Stalin with PM Modi.

The DMK leader asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to abolish all national level entrance examinations, such as the National Eligibility Cumulation Entrance Test, and enable Tamil Nadu to fill professional seats, such as MBBS, only on the basis of class 12 marks.

“All entrance tests for professional degrees, like as the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, should be eliminated,” CM Stalin told reporters following his 30-minute discussion with PM Modi. “Such features are also contained in the memorandum.”

Tamil Nadu’s chief minister said he has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give the state with more coronavirus vaccination doses.

Stalin stated on his first visit to Delhi since taking office as Chief Minister last month that he has pushed for the federal government’s vaccine production facilities in Tamil Nadu to be operationalized.

One facility is located at Chengelpet, near Chennai, while the other is located in the Nilgiris district. He added, “I have sent a memorandum to the Prime Minister.”

CM Stalin said that the federal government should pay all funds owing to Tamil Nadu, including those linked to the Goods and Service Tax, which were among the requests mentioned in the memorandum.

The DMK leader further stated that the prime minister has pledged his complete cooperation in advancing Tamil Nadu’s development plans.

In his state’s assembly elections, CM Stalin led his party to a large victory. He’ll be at the nation’s capital for two days.

Tomorrow, CM Stalin will meet with Sonia Gandhi, the interim Congress president, and Rahul Gandhi. He will also supervise the activities of the DMK’s Delhi office.

“Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru @mkstalin met PM @narendramodi,” the Prime Minister’s Office tweeted and posted pictures of their meeting.
