Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that many schemes are being implemented for the welfare of sisters. The role of Ladli Bahna Sena will be made active for better implementation of schemes and monitoring of works. Ladli Bahna Senas will be formed in every village. 21 members will be included in large villages and 11 members in small villages.

Chouhan said that the aim of my life is to change the lives of the citizens. Welfare schemes for women, youths and different sections of the society are being implemented rapidly in different areas in the state. By August 15, the work of recruitment on one lakh government posts will be completed. The recruitment process will go on continuously.

Chouhan was addressing the Ladli Bahna Mahasammelan at Gandhwani in Dhar district today. The sisters received Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Goyal along with Union Minister of State for Textiles Darshana Vikram Zardosh on their arrival at the Mahasammelan. They were traditionally welcomed by the tribal community by presenting bows and arrows. The guests were presented clothes of famous Bagh print of Dhar district. The Chief Minister dedicated development works worth Rs. 229 crore 66 lakh and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs. 187 crore 76 lakh.

Chouhan said that several steps have been taken to empower women. While various properties are being registered in the name of women, many innovative schemes are being run for the welfare of the sisters. With the launch of Ladli Bahna Yojana, the work of women empowerment become easier in the state. With the amount received from the scheme, women will not have to depend on other people for small expenses. The Chief Minister said that in the year 2017, a scheme was started to provide Rs. 1000 monthly to the special backward tribes Baiga, Saharia and Bharia. With this amount, women can do the work of buying fruits, milk, vegetables etc. at home. The Ladli Bahna Yojana is also an extension of this idea. In this, it was decided to provide 12 thousand rupees per year to all the sisters except those belonging to special backward tribes. The Chief Minister said that from June 10, women will start getting the benefits of Ladli Bahna Yojana. The previous government stopped the Sambal Yojana and assistance for the marriage of girls was also stopped, which was restarted. CM Rise schools will be useful in the interest of the weaker sections. There should be provision of schools for the poor students in the villages. Similarly, initiative has also been taken to teach medical and engineering in Hindi. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan also informed about providing assistance to the youths through the Sikho Aur Kamao Yojana. With the commencement of PM Mitra Park in Dhar district, employment will be easily available to women in the area.

Chouhan said that a few decades back there was despondency visible in the villages on the birth of a girl child. But now there is a change. Sisters and daughters deserve respect in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan expected public co-operation in the implementation of the schemes. He also mentioned the important steps taken by Prime Minister Shri Modi for public welfare, schemes and programmes started for women empowerment from Ladli Laxmi Yojna to Ladli Bahna Yojna. He said that Ladli Bahna Yojana is not just a scheme, it is a social revolution. All necessary steps are being taken for the respect of women. The closure of liquor ahatas is an important decision taken in this sequence. Chief Minister said that a lot of enthusiasm can be seen in Dhar district towards Ladli Bahna Yojana. This was reflected in the convention when the singing of “Ab Jio Ladli Bahna, Badh Chalo Ladli Bahna…” went on for a long time.

Chouhan said that the PESA rule is useful for the poors of the tribal class. It has been implemented in all the development blocks of Dhar district. He called upon to stay alert for resolving the problems under Mukhyamantri Jan-Seva Abhiyan. On the request of the Chief Minister, it was resolved that they will take advantage of the campaign.

There is no obstacle in the path of investment: Chouhan

Chouhan said that industrialists are invited every Monday for investor’s discussions. Two lakh people will get employment from PM Mitra Textile Park in Dhar district.

Chouhan went among the people at the Ladli Bahna Mahasammelan and greeted them. The programme started with Kanya Pujan. The general public also presented gifts to the guests. The guests were welcomed with huge wreaths. On this occasion, sisters of 13 development blocks of Dhar district handed over letters to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan on behalf of 90,000 sisters of the district, thanking the Chief Minister for starting Ladli Bahna Yojana.

Union Minister of State for Textiles, Darshana Vikram Zardosh said that it is my fortune that I have got the opportunity to visit Madhya Pradesh. Amazing work will happen in the textile sector in Dhar district. Women will also participate in this. Women’s participation will give good results. Madhya Pradesh is aware as well as amazing. This is also accepted by Prime Minister Shri Modi. Women will be more empowered with PM Mitra Textile Park. Madhya Pradesh is getting GI tag in many products.

Union Minister Goyal said that on the request of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Chouhan, the Central Government has approved this park. This will lead to multifaceted development of the region. He thanked Chief Minister Chouhan for providing land and other facilities for the Textile Park. He said that together we will work fast. The development of Dhar region will gain momentum. About two lakh people will also get employment.

Chouhan interacted with the members of the committees constituted under PESA rules after the Ladli Bahna Mahasammelan at Gandhwani in the district.
