Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had snacks and drank tea at Mannulal Patel’s house today during jan-darshan in Bargaon. Also ate a locally popular dish made of bottle gourd, loubra and jaggery. After drinking the tea made by Savitri Bai, the younger daughter-in-law of Mannulal, the Chief Minister said, “Beti has made very tasty tea.” During this, the Chief Minister also pampered, loved and caressed the children of the family.

The local people also drew the Chief Minister’s attention towards deepening the Godana tank. Chief Minister Chouhan informed that two works related to irrigation are being done on priority for the area, first one is to pave the canals and the second one is to take Narmada water to the villages, for which tenders have been issued. Narmada water will soon reach the area. Narmada water will irrigate more than 80 thousand acres of land in 166 villages of the area.
