On Friday, one of Delhi’s most wanted criminals, Jitender Gogi, was murdered in a gunfight inside Rohini court in Delhi. Three gunmen who had come to murder the mobster were killed in the crossfire, according to initial accounts.

Both the assailants — Rohit and Morish — were already inside Court Room No. 207, according to Special Cell sources. No one suspected them since they were disguised as attorneys. Both assailants began firing indiscriminately on Gogi as soon as he entered the room. Police reacted by shooting them and killing them on the scene.

An eyewitness claims that a female law intern was also injured by bullets.

A hearing was going on in the Courtroom when shots were fired at Rohini court, police said.

Inside the courtroom, DCP Special Cell Manishi Chandra and Special Commissioner Sanjay Singh are there. SS Yadav of the Joint CP Northern Range was also present inside.

The Delhi Police’s Counter Intelligence section detained Gogi and three of his colleagues in March. Kuldeep Maan alias Fajja, Rohit Moi, and Kapil, who were described as Gogi’s accomplices, were apprehended in Gurugram.

Gangster Kuldeep Maan alias Fajja was murdered in an incident in March. He was a close associate of incarcerated criminal Jitender Maan alias Gogi, who was being treated at the hospital when almost ten armed attackers assaulted and overwhelmed police officers.
