In the past year, Soni Razdan has shot for some web projects and is enjoying this phase of her career. “When I shot last year, there was no Delta variant or a vaccine. i used to be scared and had planned to gargle post close up and each time I took a chance as a precaution and also do other things for better immunity, but maine kuch nahin kiya (laughs). Though on the sets, we followed all protocols and regulations with regards to sanitization, so it absolutely was all taken care of. Funnily, I forgot about all else once I was shooting as i used to be focused on the task,” she shares.
Razdan shot for a music video in Kashmir and admits that it absolutely was an emotional experience for her. “I didn’t expect such feelings although i’ve got never lived in Kashmir. I don’t know where it came from. and that i was balled over to feel such a lot as i’m a Kashmiri Pandit but i’ve got not lost my direct Kashmir. I don’t have an immediate link to it quite loss or pain yet loss could be a a part of our lives in some type of the opposite. But the fear of losing our homes or displacement is universal. With most locations abroad unavailable for shoot, variety of filmmakers turning to Kashmir for shoots which pleases the senior actor. She shares, “What went on in Kashmir all told these years could be a tragedy, for everybody, not just Kashmiris. it’s lovely to work out more and more filmmakers like better to shoot in Kashmir. we’d like to bond more as a rustic together. there’s most beauty in this place and therefore the people over there are just wonderful and mild. The new generation of young filmmakers have some bright ideas. it’d be wonderful if we will shoot more often over there and even generally have an improved reference to the people of Kashmir.”
