India on Friday administered a record 90 lakh vaccine doses against coronavirus disease (Covid-19), Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced, saying the amount is predicted to travel up.

Earlier today, the ministry of health and family welfare said the cumulative vaccination coverage of India crossed the 61 crore landmark on Thursday when over 79 lakh vaccine doses were administered. As per the most recent report, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has now surpassed the cumulative figure of 62.10 crore.
The Union Government is committed to accelerating the pace and expanding the scope of Covid-19 vaccination throughout the country,” the health ministry had said in a very statement.
