Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said organizing the G-20 summit in the state is a rare opportunity to establish the country’s identity. We should take advantage of this opportunity. The delegates coming to participate in the conference should be well received and should not face any kind of inconvenience. Preparation for organising the conference should be started instantly.

Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for the conference at his residence today. On this occasion, Minister for Science and Technology, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Om Prakash Saklecha, Additional Chief Secretary Home Rajesh Rajoura and senior officials of the concerned departments were present. Ministers in-charge of Indore and Panna, officers and public representatives of the concerned districts joined virtually in the meeting.

Chouhan said there are many important religious and tourist places like Khajuraho, Panna Tiger Reserve, Mandav, Mahakal Temple etc. to be shown to the delegates coming from the country and abroad. Preparations should be made for tourism in Khajuraho, Panna, Indore, Mandav and Ujjain. Panna temples are very beautiful, prepare them by decorating.

Chief Minister Chouhan gave necessary guidelines to the ministers in charge. Chief Minister Chouhan also gave instructions to the officers regarding taking them on a tour of the Ken-Gharial Center. Necessary arrangements should be completed at these places.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the arrangements for transport and accommodation should be good. Try your best to maintain the good image of the state. An exhibition of handlooms should also be organised.

Chouhan said that the branding of the event should be of international level. Keep in touch with G-20 secretariat for publicity. Create a theme that has branding in G-20 countries. Be prepared to present sweet memories to the delegates after the event.

Chouhan said planning should be done keeping in view the circumstances, so that no obstacle should arise. He said that a state level committee will be formed for organizing the G-20.

He said that there should be facility of high speed internet around Khajuraho. Change Khajuraho through this event. There should be adequate arrangements for UPI payment.

Chouhan said a team of officers will be constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary. There will also be a team of ministers, who will look after the arrangements for the event. A team of officers will be sent to Udaipur, where the state will get the benefit of its experience. He said that by making coordination, asked to start preparations from now itself.
