Manoj Bajpayee has spoken out about if the Tandav scandal played a factor in The Family Man’s second season being delayed.

Many speculated that the delay in the release of The Family Man season two until’summer’ was due to the uproar surrounding the debut of Amazon Prime Video’s other show, Tandav. Several FIRs have been filed against persons involved in Tandav, a political drama that was later modified after several parts were found to be objectionable to specific communities.

Manoj Bajpayee, star of The Family Man, spoke up about the controversy’s impact on the film and whether or not the delay was due to it.

In an interview with the Indian Express eAdda, he added, “It is overblown.” “When the Tandav episode happened, The Family Man season 2 was finished and ready to be released. Did you ever get the impression that The Family Man was censored? If there was anything that made us nervous, it was the protests that were taking place in other parts of the country. We were convinced, though, that once people watched the show, they would realise it was about them. Raj and DK, as well as the writers, included all sides of the debates in the script for the audience to decide. That’s an excellent method for including all of the arguments in the script.”
