Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called an emergency meeting in the morning at the CM’s residence on the law and order situation.

CM Chouhan virtually received information from the officers on the incidents in Indore, Bhopal, Betul and Guna.

Chouhan inquired about the action taken so far against the culprits in the case of suicide by Vaishali Thakkar in Indore.

CM Chouhan called it disgusting and painful.

He directed to take strict action against the culprits. It was told that a reward has been announced against the culprits.

Along with this, all the airports of the country have been informed by issuing lookout notices. Teams have been dispatched to different cities of the country in search of the culprits.

Considering the misbehaviour with a Divyang by ADM in Indore as very objectionable and unfortunate, Chief Minister Chouhan directed to immediately remove ADM Pawan Jain and attach him to Bhopal.

CM Chouhan said that misbehaviour with anyone in public hearing is objectionable. It is necessary for the officers to communicate with the general public with restraint and patience. There should be a positive attitude in solving problems.

Chief Minister Chouhan received information from the Collector and the Superintendent of Police on the rising thefts in Betul. Giving instructions to increase patrolling, CM Chouhan said that it is necessary to maintain a sense of security among the general public.

Let the general public feel that the police is with them in every difficulty. In connection with the incident of a girl quitting her studies in Guna due to misconduct by a harasser, CM Chouhan directed to run a campaign against the miscreants. He said that every effort should be made to provide a fear-free atmosphere to the daughters.

CM Chouhan said that extra sensitivity is necessary in such incidents related to daughters. Police should communication continuously with the girls and their parents and develop a relationship of mutual trust.

Chief Minister Chouhan took information about the incident in Bhopal’s New Market and directed to take necessary steps to ensure safe transportation in city buses.
