New Delhi: South India’s superstar Kamal Haasan started his political innings on Wednesday and announced the new party. In a public meeting in Madurai, announced the formation of a party named ‘Makkal Nidhi Maayam’. During this time, he also inaugurated the party’s flag. During the party’s announcement, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was also present on the stage.

Kamal Haasan said that instead of giving speeches, people would ask for suggestions. He said that he would like to cooperate with his supporters as well as suggest that in order to present his party example in today’s political period.

APJ Kalam is their ideal
Before the party’s announcement, Kamal Haasan first went to former President APJ Abdul Kalam’s Rameswaram residence. He also visited the memorial of Kalam located in Karimpura. He had a program to go to that school where the former President had studied but he was not allowed for political reasons. He said that he will follow the ideals of the former President and his party is a party of the general public. Addressing his supporters present there, Kamal Haasan said that people ask about their ideology. He said that it is his ideology to educate all the students, make corruption free society and erase the game of caste and religion from society.
