Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the first initiative to bring equality and parity in the society was taken by Lord Shri Parshuram. He also took the initiative to make land available to all. To take his ideas forward, we have decided that no poor will remain homeless in Madhya Pradesh.

He said that Shri Parshuram Lok and Dham would be built at Janapav, the birthplace of Lord Shri Parshuram. Along with this, Brahmin Welfare Board will be formed in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Parshuram Jayanti celebrations at Janapav, the birth place of Lord Shri Parshuram in Mhow development block of Indore district. He also performed puja-archana Lord Shri Parshuram here.

Chouhan said that Shri Parshuram was the 6th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He was incarnated for the protection of religion and for the destruction of the wicked. Madhya Pradesh is blessed and proud that Lord Shri Parshuram was born in our state. He had the knowledge of weapons and scriptures. The Chief Minister said that various development works worth Rs 10 crore 59 lakh are being done in Janapav, his birth place. Funds have been approved for this. He said that the framework for making Shri Parshuram Lok and Dham in Janapav will be prepared in collaboration with the experts and the administration. Chouhan also sought information about the action plan regarding the ongoing development works in Janapav and the works to be done.

Union Minister of State for Steel Faggan Singh Kulaste said that it is a matter of pride for us that the birthplace of Lord Shri Parshuram is in Madhya Pradesh. It is a matter of happiness that it is being developed as a place of pilgrimage. Member of Parliament Shri V.D. Sharma said that Janapav, the birthplace of Lord Shri Parshuram, is a holy land. Rapid development works are being done by the state government by developing it as a place of pilgrimage. Various facilities are being arranged for the devotees. Shri Ramkishore Shukla and President of Rashtriya Parshuram Parishad Shri Sunil Bharala also addressed.

Ladli Bahnas presented a huge Rakhi to CM

On reaching Janapav in Indore district, Chouhan was presented a huge rakhi by the Ladli Bahnas. He was also welcomed at various places and was thanked for the Mukhya Mantri Ladli Bahna Yojana.

Chouhan said that women are our dear sisters. No stone will be left unturned for their welfare and making them financially strong. Their honour will also be protected. The CM said that the Ladli Bahna Yojana has been started for the overall welfare of women. This is a revolutionary scheme. CM Chouhan urged all the women to get themselves registered under the scheme and also encourage other sisters.
