Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said organizing Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas in Indore is an extraordinary opportunity for the state. Hence we all should prepare for this programme in an extraordinary way. We should make efforts to make the programme interesting.

He said that there must be a presentation focused on the specialties of Madhya Pradesh in the programme. Madhya Pradesh has got this golden opportunity. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the programme.

Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for the Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas programme to be held in Indore on January 8, 9, 10, 2023 at his residence today.

He said Youth Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas will be celebrated on the first day on January 8. The next day, on January 9, the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention-2023 will be inaugurated which will conclude on January 10. The President will take part in this programme.

Chouhan said other arrangements including cultural programmes, event management and digital exhibitions should be completed properly. Best arrangements should be ensured for the delegates coming to attend the programme. Efforts should be made to create the image of the state in the whole world.

Chouhan said the delegates coming to the programme should go back praising the state. Best of efforts should be made for it. There should no laxity. People should be eager to come to Madhya Pradesh after talking on the call center set up for the programme. It should also be ensured that the instructions of the Government of India are followed.

Chouhan said that people should enjoy cultural programs focusing on the specialties of Madhya Pradesh. The industry exhibition should be well planned. International level publicity should be ensured through hoardings and advertisements at International Airport.

He said that the cleanliness of Indore is a topic for discussion all over the world. Accordingly, cleanliness should be taken care of.

Global Investors Summit will be held on 11 and 12 January

It was informed in the meeting that the Global Investors Summit will be held on 11 and 12 January. It will have 14 sessions focused on 9 sectors. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the process of sending invitations should begin. Chief Minister Chouhan will also have a direct dialogue with the industrialists. 17 countries have been invited to the summit. Manish Singh, MD, MPIDC gave information about the preparations.

Chouhan said that the MP start-up ecosystem should be taken forward rapidly. The concluding programme will be attended by Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Piyush Goyal. There should be no shortcoming in the marketing of the state’s products. A virtual inventor road show should also be organized before the programme.

He will hold a one-to-one meeting with industrialists on November 24 in Bengaluru. There will be an interactive session in the programme, in which the possibilities of capital investment in Madhya Pradesh will be discussed. He instructed to make better preparations for the programme. He asked the concerned officials to make full use of their capabilities and ensure preparations for the programme.
