The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is dutifully performing the responsibility of security of railway property and passengers with the Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested a gang of women theives robbed passengers in the trains.

Under Operation Yatri Suraksha Abhiyan, RPF has shown its devotion and honesty towards its duty by arresting the accused involved in theft of passenger salmon in passenger train.
Information was received from the informer on 04.09.2023 at Pipariya Post of Jabalpur Division that some women were sitting in a critical condition in the waiting hall of Bankhedi Railway Station.

On information, GRP Gadarwara and RPF Pipariya staff came to the Bankhedi station questioned the women whom did not give any satisfactory answer.

On interrogation, after bringing to GRP police station Gadarwara, women accepted theft in train and stolen gold necklace, Panchali cash 500 total stolen goods worth Rs 150000/- were recovered.

The crime registered as unknown was detected by the GRP against the name of women residents of Nagpur Maharashtra. On searching, they found mangalsutra, panchali, ear-tops, jhumki, silver anklet, bracelet and Rs.12,000 in cash, total cost Rs.335,000/-. the articles were recovered on which a case under IPC was registered against all the women.
