As Dance Deewane 3’s new season began, the team of Dharmesh as judge and Raghav Juyal as host was one of the main draws. However, as the Coronavirus devastated India, things changed dramatically. When Maharashtra declared a state of emergency, Raghav decided to flee to Uttarakhand to be with his family.

Raghav decided to step away from the show and delegated hosting duties to his friends Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa. Although the couple is doing an excellent job as usual, fans miss Raghav and his upbeat personality, as well as his bonding with Dharmesh, which creates magic on Dance Deewane 3.

In a recent interview with a media outlet, the Street Dancer 3D actor revealed that his absence from the show was due to personal reasons. After the Maharashtra lockdown was announced, he left for his hometown of Pauri in Uttarakhand. He became infected with COVID-19 in his hometown and had to be quarantined for a few weeks.

Later, when he considered returning to Mumbai, he discovered that his village had been severely impacted by the pandemic, and the health centres there were inadequately equipped. That is when he decided to stay in Pauri for a while and help people in rural Uttarakhand by supplying essential materials such as medicines and equipment to health centres.

In regards to his return to Dance Deewane 3, Raghav stated, “I took a break from the show for a few weeks because I was not in the state of mind to dance and sing because I felt my state needed me and I should do something to help people during the pandemic.” But I’ll be back on set for the show next month.”

As a result, fans can expect Raghav to take over as host of Colors TV’s popular dance reality show soon.
