Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Indian culture is vibrant and research based. Due to this characteristic of our culture, research has been continuously encouraged in our country for thousands of years.

It is our resolve to ensure that engineering colleges of the state will be developed on the lines of IITs.

Campuses similar to IIT will be prepared. Students of engineering colleges will also be able to learn from the dissemination of knowledge taking place from IIT.

The vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given impetus to the efforts to make India a leading country in the technology sector.

Establishment of satellite campus will give a new direction to technical education in Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was today addressing the gathering at the inauguration of the Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship Experiential Learning Center (Deep-Tech Research and Discovery Centre) organized at the Government Engineering College, Ujjain. 

In his virtual address, Union Minister, Ministry of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, Dharmendra Pradhan, said that Madhya Pradesh will be made the center of new knowledge tradition.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated three state-of-the-art labs Astronomy and Space Engineering Heritage and Innovation Centre, Laser Engineering Lab and Maker Space Lab in the Engineering College campus of Ujjain. MLA Anil Jain Kaluheda, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, Additional Chief Secretary Manu Srivastava and senior officials of IIT Indore were present.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the scientific tradition is known as Rishi tradition in our country, in which knowledge has been well established on the basis of scientific outlook. Many attempts were made to destroy our rich culture and Rishi tradition.

Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the flag of our culture is flying all over the world. The world will come to our country to get educated and learn.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the inauguration of DeepTech and Research Center in Ujjain is part of Vikramotsav.

Vikramotsav-2024 began with the country’s Prime Minister Shri Modi inaugurating the Vedic clock on 29 February. He said that IIT Kanpur, adopting the Indian approach, presented a wonderful model based on the calculations of planets, constellations and stars. 

Today the Vedic clock has become the pride of Ujjain in the country and the world.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the dignity of the country has been restored.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the flag of Indian knowledge tradition is flying not only in Madhya Pradesh but throughout India.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today an important work has been started from Ujjain itself to make research in the field of astronomy more effective.

He said that many secrets of our rich knowledge tradition are continuously being revealed, which the world as started to accept. Our culture has been continuously encouraging and nurturing innovations. 

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Ujjain has special importance in astronomy. The stream of science flows from the city of Lord Mahakal.

He said that Ujjain will be established in the world as the city of science.

Indore-Ujjain corridor should lead the knowledge tradition in Madhya Pradesh

Union Education Minister Shri Pradhan said that Indore and Ujjain corridor should take the lead in making Madhya Pradesh the center of new knowledge tradition.

He said that IIT Indore should prepare a detailed road map and get it implemented.

The Union Minister said that it is a matter of great pleasure that today the foundation of the Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship Experiential Learning Center has been inaugurated in Ujjain. 

The DeepTech Research Center of IIT Indore is an example of the implementation of the new education policy, which will be helpful in promoting innovations.

People of Madhya Pradesh rich in research and innovative capabilities

Union Minister Shri Pradhan said that the world is acknowledging the talent of the people of Madhya Pradesh in the field of science.

The people of the state have done wonders in the field of science in foreign countries also. People of Madhya Pradesh Research are known for their exploration and innovations.

These innovations should be provided appropriate platforms and implemented for future use.

He asked the directors and teachers of the Indian Institute of Technology and other institutions to understand the rich Indian scientific tradition in Indian original languages.

He told to deeply study about discoveries like our rainfall calculations made 300 to 400 years ago, our accurate time calculations thousands of years ago etc.
